Our volunteers are essential partners who help make a real difference in our programs and services.
By sharing your time, talents, and energy, you make a direct and meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve and in our community. Whether it’s interacting directly with our students with developmental disabilities or working behind the scenes, you take part in a rich, rewarding — and fun — experience that benefits adults, youth, and children with learning differences and developmental disabilities.
Pre-volunteer requirements include an ability to clear a criminal background check and obtain required medical clearances.
Better Together, Better with YOU
Our mission to accept, respect, and include people of all abilities extends to the identities and backgrounds of every member of our community. AbilityPath disrupts all forms of discrimination, injustice, and oppression. We oppose violence and discrimination against all members in our community, particularly BIPOC and LGBTQ+ people. We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. In solidarity with these core values, we recognize that we have work to do. We are creating a culture where community members can thrive as their authentic self. We are a stronger community when everyone is included.
