Aimee Castro
Occupational Therapist
Aimee Castro earned a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University and has worked with children of all ages in school-based, home-based, and outpatient settings. Her experience spans physical, mental and developmental diagnoses, including cerebral palsy, ataxia, dyslexia, seizure disorders, postural disorders, Down Syndrome, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, sensory processing challenges, visual motor and perceptual difficulties, anxiety disorders, depression, and developmental delays. Aimee is motivated to help children of all ages experience happiness and playfulness and connect to others while developing self-concept, new skills, and cultivating self-confidence.
Aimee’s goal is to provide family-centered therapy with consistent collaboration and communication while striving to improve her clients’ quality of life as she addresses daily challenges affecting independence in self-care, family relationships, friendships, play, and school-related activities.
While not at work, Aimee enjoys urban gardening, working out, enjoying the outdoors, and exploring events and restaurants in her hometown, San Francisco.
