Amanda Burr, MS, OTR/L, earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University in April of 2018 and has been practicing pediatric occupational therapy in the clinic setting ever since. Prior to becoming an OT she worked with differently abled adults in the community setting giving her extensive experience with kids and adults with a wide range of diagnoses and physical, cognitive, sensory, and self-care impairments. She has completed trainings in Handwriting Without Tears and Masgutova Neuromuscular Reflex Integration, and she has a special interest in sensory processing and integration. She is passionate about empowering children to function at their highest potential by making hard work fun. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, cooking, traveling, and nature photography.
