Dorothy joined the CEO Advisory Council in January of 2010. As a person with a significant disability she has always been committed to creating a world where people of all abilities are accepted, respected, and included. She comes from an Education background with graduate and post graduate degrees, and rehabilitation credentials. Dorothy is retired from the San Francisco Unified School District. Her areas of interest are communication differences, social skills development, behavior analysis, developmental disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and language development. In addition to AbilityPath, she is an active Leadership Committee member of Canine Companions for Independence, one of the premier organizations promoting independence through Service Dogs.
