Ishrag Khababa joined the AbilityPath board in 2019 after our merger with Abilities United, where she served on the board since 2016. She is currently the Director of Strategic Initiatives for Satellite Healthcare, a not-for-profit dialysis provider, where she specializes in program development, integration of new service lines, and managing projects related to enhancing patient experience and coordination of care. Leading up to this, Ishrag held the Director of Patient Experience position at Satellite Healthcare where she was responsible for driving a culture of patient and family-centered care across the enterprise. Prior to this, she spearheaded the compliance department for Satellite Healthcare, which includes compliance risk management, liability insurance management, Medicare certification, and facility licensing. She has also supported various business development growth initiatives and medical affairs improvement projects. Before that, she worked as a research assistant at Stanford University where she studied the genetic causes of sensorineural hearing loss and co-authored several articles, abstracts, and posters. Ishrag holds a B.S. in microbiology and a minor in chemistry from San Jose State University and has obtained her M.B.A with a concentration in finance from Santa Clara University. She speaks Arabic, French, and English and loves to travel.
