Jennifer L. Smith (She/Her)
Jennifer L Smith, MS OTR/L, is an Occupational Therapist who received both her Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University. She has been a pediatric occupational therapist in the Bay Area for 18 years with experience working in a variety of settings that include early intervention, clinic-based, outpatient hospital and school-based settings. In addition to treating a variety of diagnoses in children ranging from 0-18, Jennifer has also conducted research on The Therapeutic Listening Program and Integrated Play Groups. Jennifer has extensive experience in sensory integration and special interests in feeding/eating therapy. Jennifer has advanced training in The Therapeutic Listening Program and extensive therapeutic application of this program throughout her career. Additional trainings include: floor time, The Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, How Does Your Engine Run, Brain Gym, M.O.R.E and therapeutic use of yoga. Jennifer has received her Handwriting Without Tears certification and her CBOT advanced certification in the area of swallowing, evaluation or intervention in 2010.
