Speech-Language Pathologist
Kat Johnson, M.S., CF-SLP, is a Speech-Language Pathologist who has been living in the Bay Area for the past two years. She received her bachelor’s degrees in Neuroscience and Speech-Language and Hearing Sciences from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2018 and earned her master’s degree from San Jose State University in 2022. She has been volunteering and working the fields related to speech for over 10 years. She has extensive experience in teaching children of all ability levels in various subjects. During her graduate studies, Kat worked with children and adults with various needs to improve their speech and language. Her areas of interest include Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), social communication, bilingualism, accent modification and the neurological aspects of speech and language. She enjoys collaborating with other therapists and family members to create the best treatment plan for each individual. In her free time, Kat enjoys hiking, bouldering, skiing, going to concerts, and spending time with her cat and dog.
