Sarah Verity (She/Her)
Vice President, Board Relations and Legislative Affairs
Sarah joined AbilityPath as Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer in 2007. Her role has expanded into oversight of board relations, legislative affairs and advocacy. Sarah works directly with the CEO and Board of Directors to maximize their effectiveness and achievement of the AbilityPath mission. Sarah has been recognized within the organization for excellence in performance, a high degree of precision, and her close attention to detail.
As a member of the California Disability Services Association and the Lanterman Coalition, Sarah represents AbilityPath and facilitates collaboration among service providers across California to influence legislation and secure funding to empower those with special needs and developmental disabilities.
Sarah is recognized as a graduate of the prestigious Leadership San Mateo program. She studied Human Resources and Business Administration at San Jose State University. In her free time, Sarah enjoys anything involving sunshine and the outdoors, digital photography and especially spending time with her niece and nephews — cheering at their games and earning her place as their favorite Aunt.
