Vanessa is a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow, originally from Southern California. She received her bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from California State University, Long Beach, before moving to Northern California, where she earned her master’s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at San Francisco State University, with a specialization in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She is passionate about providing neurodiversity-affirming care and creating a fun, nurturing therapy environment. Vanessa values partnering with families and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support progress across settings. Her areas of interest include AAC, gestalt language processing, and early intervention. In her free time, Vanessa enjoys reading, tending to her houseplants, going on nature walks, and exploring the Bay Area!
