Adult Services
Through the Jarrett Family Computer & Media Arts Program, students will develop a sense of digital independence. We provide training in accessing computers, assistive technology (adaptive tables, mice, and keyboards), using online tools in everyday living, and functional academics.
Our computer instructors are skilled in working with people of all ages and ability levels. Classes are taught using desktops, laptops, tablets, and smart phones.
Goals of the program:
- Foster personal growth and development through digital independence
- Increase independence in the workplace by learning widely used applications, such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Strengthen academic skills in math and literacy through digital teaching tools
- Learn online tools that aid in everyday living tasks, such as money management and communication with friends and family
