Early Intervention

Children's Services

Early Intervention services are funded by the Regional Center system to provide therapy, child development services and family support services for infants and young children with developmental, social-emotional, and physical differences. Our Early Intervention services are tailored for each child and focus on working with the parents and primary caregivers. All developmental classes include caregiver participation. Individual sessions are held in the home or at our community-based centers. Developmental classes are held at our community-based centers.

Our interdisciplinary team of Early Intervention teachers, speech-language pathologists, and occupational therapists works closely with parents to develop hands-on approaches that can be used at home and during daily activities to continue the developmental progress of the child. Developmental classes and individual therapy sessions are offered for children 0 to 3 referred by the Regional Center. Caregiver-child classes are led by our early childhood special educators or speech-language pathologists for educational training and support.

Teletherapy and in-person options are available.
